Subject: Amazing Astronaut!
Hi all,
Andre Kuipers, ESA astronaut, is fantastic! I've just had the honour of
spending almost 4 hours in his company (thanks to Armagh Planetarium & Action
Renewables), and he is an amazing & delightful character! His story is fascinating,
his enthusiasm is unbounded, he's an excellent communicator, and a really
nice bloke!
Don't miss his public lecture tomorrow (Tuesday) evening at 7.30 p.m.,
Lecture Room 5, Stranmillis College, Belfast. Better come no later than 7.20 to be
safe; in fact we may have to move to a bigger room in the same building due to
the level of interest shown already.
There's plenty of room in the two car parks at the building, so come along if
at all possible.
Admission is free as usual, including light refeshments (if we aren't
overwhelmed by the numbers!) - hope to see you there.
