ARMAGH CITY PROMO FILM LAUNCHED AT ARMAGH PLANETARIUM

A new promotional video was launched on 4th February 2016 at Armagh Planetarium as part of the event held that day to launch the City of Armagh´s Tourism, Arts, Culture and Heritage Ambassador programme. 25 local heritage ambassadors will encourage visitors to explore the many hidden gems of the city represented by its two cathedrals, libraries, museums, public art trail, architecture, gardens, historic monuments and visitor centres, including the city´s Market Place Theatre, the Mall, the Palace Demesne and Milford House.

The film, produced by Cathal Hegarty (Benburb Productions), includes images of all the key elements of Armagh City's visitor attraction offerings, including the Armagh Observatory and Planetarium, the Armagh Public Library, the Registry at No. 5 Vicars´ Hill, the Armagh County Museum, the Cardinal O´Fiaich Memorial Library and Archive, the Royal Irish Fusiliers Museum, the two Cathedrals and the historic Navan Centre a few miles from the city centre.
