Many parts of this package are very well tested, but there are surely errors
and omissions to be found and corrected.

The current version 5.1.2 will see only minor revisions over through 2009.

Known problems on release of 5.1.2:

The control panels in xmtel and xmtel1 will not show the correct assignment of
N/S to the slew buttons when a German equatorial is operated under the
AUX Celestron NexStar protocol. The protocol handles the flip across the
meridian automatically, but the buttons keep the initially assigned labels.

Some accessory features in the NexStar "aux" driver are not implement in the
standalone control user interface.l

Pointing corrections, while available in software, are not fully tested. There
is no simple procedure yet for fitting pointing corrections to an error map.

Slew limit control to protect the telescope and hardware is not completely
implemented in softare. This system is not recommended for unattended operation
unless safety limit switches are installed that will stop motion that could
except the telescope's mechanical constraints.
