Spindle heating experiment log

We ran this test this morning by putting a dial indicator on the front face of the column. The thermometer was stuck into one of the bolts hole with some thermally conductive grease. We ran the spindle at 3500 rpm for three hours and let it cool for an hour. Then we stopped taking measurements. Here are the numbers:

These measurements are taken from the outside of the housing furthest from the column. The centerline of the spindle is 7.874" in from this edge and the overall distance from the ways out to where the indicator was is approx. 33.1875".
