Francesco Tribioli Home Page

I am one of the system managers at the Osservatorio Astrofisico di Arcetri in Florence - Italy. You can find some information about our computing facilities here (Italian only). I am part of a team composed of Luca Fini, Roberto Baglioni and Vanni Guarnieri which follow as me the technical aspects of the work and Renzo Fusina on the administrative side.

My first love was astronomy which I studied at Florence University and my interest in computers started as a collateral effect of my studies. I had to use them to prepare my thesis and, slowly, computer science has became my prevalent field of specialization. Here it is a short curriculum of my professional activity.
