Gray Jays do not migrate and they spend winters in the cold, snowy, frigid northern regions. Gray Jays store food for the winter. As soon as it takes nuts from your hand it stores them and comes back for more. (Paul and Margarita.)

Baxter State Park - 1992

Gray Jays are reminiscent of large Chickadees. Also known as Canadian Jay, and Camp Robber. It belongs to the Crow family. Hikers and Campers love this very friendly bird! (Paul and Margarita.)
