CP violating vacuum transition

An analysis of primordial nucleosynthesis is made in the per-
spective of transition in the early universe from quark-gluon to
a hadronic phase in a CP violating vacuum. The universe opaque
to colour quarks and antiquarks bind into globally colourless
hadrons. u,d, and s quarks are considered in a sea of degener-
ate neutrinos. The ratio of number density of neutrons to protons
is calculated for a transition temperature  200MeV f or various
values of neutrino degeneracy, e = e =T; e being the chem-
ical potential of the electron type neutrino). Attempt is made to
reconcile some anisotropic models for which there is accelerated
expansion at early times and the high temperature universe de-
scribed by the vacuum. The present number density of baryons
is calculated with the constraint of e and gives the ratio of the
present density of the universe to the critical
density,
< 1, show-
ing that there is still scope for the presence of dark matter in the
universe.
