Welcome!
This is Jo Ann Eder's house, in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico. Not too far
from where I work, the Arecibo
Observatory. She has retired, and now lives in Montana. That is
why I am living here now: I am looking after the house and dogs. It is
such a nice house!
We're now going to the balcony above the SUV, and see how things look
from there.
This is the gate you just used to enter!
My bear friends are sunbathing! The brown one is the Bear of Today,
the white one is his girlfriend, the Bear of May!
Now looking towards the sea! The Bear of Today just went to my room...
There is such a nice, delicious breeze coming from the sea!
We are now in my room. The bears are talking about superstring
theory. They think it is a waste of time.
My room has a little balcony of its own, with a nice view to the
sea. This is the time of the year to see whales passing by, but so far
I only saw one for sure.
The conversation gets so interesting that soon they're joined by their
dog, Frantick, and the house cat, Pete.
The conversation is a bit too philosophical for me. I leave the house
towards the sea.
There is a nice balcony here overlooking the sea!
This is the view towards the West.
This is the view towards the East.
Apart from Pete the Cat, Jo Ann has seven dogs! Here you see, from
front to back, Eddie, Millie, Cingo, Zorro, Pepper and Cassie. You can
tell they are superstars, because of their bored, detached look, they
appear in this shot like the Rolling Stones in the covers of their
albums, each of them looking at a different point of infinity, as if
they couldn't care less about the camera. Max hasn't even bothered to be
in this picture, at this time he had just gone to sleep under my car.
I'm going to take them to the beach...
We're on our way to the beach. What a beautiful day! The Sun makes all
the green leaves shine brightly.
The dogs are really excited! Now you see Max up close. They play hide
and seek among the trees. Sometimes they pretend they're hunting.
We're almost there!
Finally there! The dogs are having a great time sunbathing and playing
with the waves.
The beach is just drenched in sunlight, coming from the West, between
the trees. It is not even too hot. It is so beautiful!
The Sun is about to set. Time to go back home. There's more
tomorrow!
