Massive Stars: From Pop III and GRBs to the Milky Way

The 2006 May Symposium at the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI), was held from Monday, May 8, 2006 to Thursday, May 11, 2006. The title was: Massive Stars: From Pop III and GRBs to the Milky Way.

The symposium covered topics in the general areas of: the formation of massive stars (both Pop III and in the galaxies); massive stellar clusters; the evolution of massive stars; the end of life of massive stars (incl. SNe, GRBs, Ultraluminous X-ray sources, etc.); environmental impacts (feedback, chemical evolution, etc., for both Pop III and galactic objects.
