Science Interests
My research focuses on the Interstellar Medium in the Milky Way, the Magellanic Clouds, and nearby galaxies. I use both gas and dust as tracers to answer fundamental questions about star formation. I am particularly interested in investigating how the gas collapses and fragments to form stars and star clusters, and what causes the onset of star formation (e.g., turbulence, gravity, shocks...). I am also currently working on the properties of dust in the Magellanic Clouds and how these properties change with local environment.
