The reformat macro is slower than Ctrl+J, strangely enough... Also, it might be good to be able to distinguish between paragraphs in some way, when they are adjacent (not separated by a blank space). Apart from emptying spaces in otherwise empty lines and the indent lead-ins, these macros do not touch user-entered spaces or tabs:
A space at the end of a line either remains at the end of a line, or finds itself in front of the next word (which used to be the first word on the following line).
