Title : Thy Family Consumed
Filename : TFC2.WAD

NOTE: there is also a Doom I -version of this wad! Look for tfc.wad...
(Doom I textures and monsters, but basically the same)

Author : Eeva Marin
E-mail Address : eehama@tukki.jyu.fi
Other WADS : GARDEN.WAD, GARDEN2.WAD (Doom II-version)
Description : I wanted to make a wad that would be a bit different from most wads around. There are others like this one, but not many... Besides, I really wanted to draw a toilet bowl (for more intelligent reasons, see Additional Info below)

Additional credits to : Ari Kallio for testing,
id Software for DOOM,
the people behind DeeP

The Story So Far :

After completing your mission and killing all the baddies, you've decided to retire. You've returned to Earth, bought a big house, got married and had children. The nightmare seems well behind and you are starting to feel relaxed, enjoying your life and watching your children grow up. Everything seems to be fine.

One early morning, when it's still dark, you wake up. The house is very quiet, but you can't help feeling uneasy. Something is wrong.

You reach for your wife, but she's not there sleeping next to you. You turn on the lights. She's not in the room. Before you know, you've instinctively got a pistol out from your nightstand. You try to listen. There's someone in the bathroom.

You hear a deep growl coming from downstairs. Old memories fill your mind as you recognize it.

You know what it is about. It's about revenge. They've followed you, and now they are here. At your home.

This wad has been tested on Doom II v.1.666, on a Pentium 120, and on a 120 Mhz 486. I cannot promise that it will work on any other version of Doom, or that it will be playable on slower computers. Let's hope for the best.

* Additional info *

This wad is quite a small one. The point here is that I wanted to try if it's possible to create stuff like ordinary rooms and furniture with Doom textures. This wad is not meant to be taken too seriously - if you think it's a stupid idea, try to see the funny side of it. After all, computer panel textures as kitchen walls cannot be taken too seriously, can they?

* Hint *

Very dark rooms always have a light switch somewhere. Try to find them if you want to see what happened to those kids of yours...
