Return of the restored Grubb 15 inch reflector in March 2004

The first part of the video shows the main telescope tube being unpacked and lifted by crane into the 1827 dome. Among those shown are David Sinden, John Butler, Mark Bailey and Bertie McClure. The reassembled telescope is then shown inside the dome. The second part of the video shows David Sinden demonstrating how to clean the lens of the 10 inch Grubb refractor. Also shown in the video are John Butler, Ignatio Ugarte, Bertie McClure and Martin Murphy. The camera was operated by Jonathan McAuliffe. See also:
