2002 May 14th, Venus, Crescent Moon and Mars (to the lower right of Venus)
If you look closely you'll see evidence of the ``light pillars'' above and
below Venus that other observers have reported.
These are caused by refraction of light by water ice crystals in the
Earth's atmosphere.
