Professor Carl Murray, right, a leading member of the international team of astronomers on the Cassini-Huygens Mission to Saturn, is pictured with pupils from his old school St Mary's CBGS James McComish, Bibainross Kudilil and Ethan Tolan at the launch of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) schools initiative. Professor Murray was back in Belfast to address pupils from across Northern Ireland at a conference on the ground-breaking 12-year mission. Also pictured are teacher Fiona NУ- MhearУЕin and Belfast Education and Library Board (BELB) STEM adviser Noel Hunter, who organised the conference which aims to encourage young people to become more interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics with a view to eventually taking up careers in STEM areas.
