International Year of Astronomy in Ireland

Moon sketch by Richard Neville, age 10, a pupil of Saint Andrews Junior College in Dublin, was selected as the Astronomy Sketch of the Day on the 3rd of July 2008. Richard was inspired by Deirdre Kelleghan to try a sketch of the Moon. His pencil sketch shows great energy and intent to capture detail both on the lunar surface and along  the terminator. Well done Richard!
