On November 24, 2015, the AAA had its first evening observing session at the James J. Peters VA Hospital in the Bronx.ˆà The event was coordinated through Erika Likar, a Recreational Therapist at the hospital.
We set up two telescopes.ˆà It was a cold evening.ˆà Around ten vets attended. One brought his two children and they enjoyed looking at the moon.
Our next observing session at the Hospital is on Wednesday, June 1.ˆà Set up time will be 8:00 pm.ˆà Sunset is at 8:21 pm.

The Hospital is located at 130 West Kingsbridge Road. Drive south on Webb Avenue to enter the campus. Inform the guard that you are attending this event. Then make you first right. Drive to the end of this road and make a right, Then turn right again and park.
