Location
University of Arizona
Tucson, AZ 85737
United States
Description
Beginning in September of 2005 and continuing through the next few years, Flandrau will enter an innovative phase of community engagement in order to learn more about what regional communities want from and can offer to the new Science Center.

As part of this process, the Flandrau Science Center building on the University campus will suspend regular operations on September 6, 2005 and re-open September 1, 2006. When it re-opens, the Center will be a living and working laboratory designed to offer the ultimate in sensory exploration with a set of prototype exhibits and planetarium programs for the public to experience and evaluate.
