we measure a year in earth time year right?
and than when we say a light year it means that thats the time the light traveld in a year (earth time). it also tells us the distance it traveld in a year.(9.4 trillion kilometers)
so when u say 16.7 billion,i'm assuming u mean earth time as well?
think about it
how do u measure infinity or when the beginning occur?
the 80 billion light years away galaxys that hubble can see, they are just the tip of the ice sort of speak.a drope in the ocean if u will.
i think that its impossible to tell neither when the beginning occur as well as where is the edge of this thing (the universe)
