Black Holes As A Source Of Dark Matter/energy?

Black holes "suck" in everything, and produce nothing tangible. Would it be possible that they actually convert the physical matter and energy we're familiar with to dark matter? As our only means of detecting dark matter is gravitational lensing it would not be distinguishable from a black hole's gravity.
