and I think this program will be very interesting for the ATMLJ reader. I have dwnloaded and tested your program
and found it very nice. But here is a problem with the russian (cyrilic) shrift. On my computer all russian characters
are replaced by
. Is here possible to receive a version with english translation? I can translate
all texts in short time if you send me the all screen shots and later replace they in your source code. If your program
was written in Delphi or Visual Basik, maybe I can help you additional, because I am Delphi/Pascal programmer.
I can publish your program in the journal column "Optical Computing". A copy of the complete issue with your article
will be send to you.
You kann write me in russian too. I learn russian over 10 years in the scool and in the university. Also my best books
about optical design and telescopes are in russsian.My great wish is to made popular the russian ATM works public to
the west amateur astronomers. Your russian works are relative unknown for the american and west europa telescope
makers. For example in the summer issue of ATMLJ (column "Back to Theory") has appear interesting article from
Sergey Chuprakov - "Tilted Mirror Corrector with Axial Symmetry", in the last issue an article about Foucault data
reduction by Alexander Aleksin. In the current issue will appear an article from Valery Korneev.
I know very well the works of many advanced russian amateur astronomers and all works of Dmitri Maksutov,
M. Michelson etc. In 1989 I was 1 month in St. Petersburg (for some experiments for my diplom work) and here
have the possibility to visit for a whole day GOI and was happy to see and speek with Mr. M. Michelson. This was
18 years ago, I have no idea if this great optician still a live.
