The TIRGO telescope is a Cassegrain telescope with a wobbling secondary and
optimized for infrared observations. The primary mirror has a diameter of 1.5 m
and a focal ratio F/2.3, while the secondary is 20 cm in diameter. The combined
focal length is 30 m, corresponding to a focal ratio F/20. The total field­of­view
(FOV) is about 12 arcmin, and the scale at the focal plane is 6.9 arcsec/mm.
