CSIRO Alumni 2015 Scholarship in Physics

PhD student Claire-Elise Green from the University of NSW studies stellar nurseries using radio telescopes like the 22-m Mopra telescope and the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA). At a wonderful ceremony in Lindfield she was awarded the first CSIRO Alumni 2015 Scholarship in Physics by CSIRO's new Chief Executive Dr. Larry Marshall. - The photo shows UNSW/ATNF PhD student and Alumni awardee Claire-Elise Green in the middle, Cathy Foley (Chief of CSIRO Materials Science and Engineering) to the left and Larry Marshall (CSIRO CEO) to the right.
