It is my pleasure to welcome Michael Reid to the AusFITS regional FITS
committee. Mike was formerly a Ph.D. student of Denis Sullivan's and
is currently working with him on an astronomical instrument system.
Mike is quite interested in the FITS standards issues and works as an
IT consultant in Wellington, NZ.
