Hi Jim

  Attached to this is a VEX schedule which when fed to the version of
DRUDG included in the latest FS-9.7.3 gives working snap/procedure files
so long as you use option 11 to set the recorder 1 type to Mark5A first.
So for Hobart people, that means just use it like you do the geodesy
schedules ( though you have to patch the IFDs in astronomy mode ie.
VCs 1,3,5,7 to IF1[LCP] and VCs 2,4,6,8 to IF2[RCP] B).

This version assumes Hobart's IF is LSB to 1800MHz and Tid's IF is USB to
1380MHz and that both setups are MarkIV rack -> Mark5A recorder.

Also attached is a version for controlling an S2 recorder but without the
correct frequency setup - see below. For example it uses 16x8-1 as a
recording mode which will need modification to match what is actually
to be used.

  The S2 dataset is in principle disconnected from the VLBA/MkV dataset
so it's setup should probably be decided separately. Giuseppe/Roopesh
need to decide what is suitable here - I would guess 16MHz LCP+RCP 2-bit
sampled. The S2 schedule attached can be customised to match.

  The schedule I downloaded (and converted to the version attached) has
actual times:

        TID 323/10:26UT - 323/16:21UT

  Yes, or more precisely at Tid

        define vc018 00000000000x
        vc02=271.49,8.000,u
        vc01=271.49,8.000,u
        vc04=279.49,8.000,u
        vc03=279.49,8.000,u
        vc06=287.49,8.000,u
        vc05=287.49,8.000,u
        vc08=295.49,8.000,u
        vc07=295.49,8.000,u
        !+1s
        valarm
        enddef

with the IFD setup as follows

        define ifd01 00000000000x
        ifd=,,nor,nor
        lo=
        lo=lo1,1380.00,usb,lcp,1.000
        lo=lo2,1380.00,usb,rcp,1.000
        patch=
        patch=lo1,1h,3h,5h,7h
        patch=lo2,2h,4h,6h,8h
        enddef

  I would recommend you try use some sort of FS software (probably a raw
unmodified version ie. no station software at all would work ) to control
the MkIV+V combination as it is very complicated to get right by hand.
Just setup the control files for a MarkIV, add the right IP to mk5ad.ctl,
the correct serial port to dev.ctl and you should be ready to roll.
