On this day, 13 May 1986 the Mount Pleasant telescope was opened, after having been moved from Orroral Valley in the ACT where it had been a NASA tracking station.
So it's
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOUNT PLEASANT 26 m TELESCOPE
45 years old, 25 years young!
