Abstract:
The recently completed HI mosaic survey of the Large Magellanic Cloud (Kim et al. 1997) reveals complex structure in the interstellar medium including filaments, arcs, holes and shells. We have catalogued giant and supergiant HI shells and searched for correlations with H emission, using a new image taken with a camera lens mounted on the 16-inch Telescope at Siding-Spring Observatory.
