IтАЩm currently an OCE Postdoctoral Fellow at the Australia Telescope National Facility (ATNF). My primary role is to investigate the factors currently limiting the dynamic range achievable with the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) in projects such as the Australia Telescope Large Area Survey (ATLAS). ATLAS aims to image a total of 7 square degrees down to 10 ѕ®Jy rms at 1.4 GHz and is the largest sensitive radio survey ever attempted. The broad scientific goal of ATLAS is to understand the evolution of galaxies in the early universe.
