PDFB4 search mode
The following tests were carried out on the 4th May 2010 by George Hobbs. For each configuration the minimum sampling rate was determined by observing 0437-4715 for 60seconds with the specified setup. Note: the sample times were analysed in powers of two. Therefore if 64us is reported as the fastest sample time then 32us failed. However, it is possible that some sample time between 32 and 64us may actually work. The fastest sample time must also be treated with caution. For instance, the 1024_512 configuration worked twice with 8bits, 1pol and 64us sampling, but then failed on a third test. The fastest sample time for this setup has therefore been reported as 128us.
Results
Configuration: 1024_512 (bandwidth = 1024MHz, number of channels = 512) samples/row = 4096, cycle time = 10s, 10cm receiver, PDFB4.
Configuration: 256_1024 and 256_512: 1420.406MHz, number of channels = 1024/512 (respecitvely), samples/row = 4096, cycle time = 10s, MB receiver, PDFB4.
