Reducing Filterbank Data


Introduction

This section describes how to convert raw filterbank data to our standard archive format. From there is it relatively easy to obtain arrival times. The data reduction is a multistage process. You must learn about each in turn.
Note: production and reduction of the filterbank data uses the environment variables tpool and fptmpool a lot.
Data goes into tpool and the finished archives end up in fptmpool. (Note environment variables need a $ sign in front of them to activate them)
