Orbital module with the Soyuz-U LV At Baikonur launch site the preparations continue for the launch of Progress M-04M cargo vehicle under the International Space Station program.
Orbital module of the Soyuz-U launch vehicle, containing Progress M-04M spacecraft was integrated with the Soyuz-U launch vehicle in the processing facility.

A launch of the first intercontinental ballistic missile R-7 Fifty years ago, our country's government published Decree No.60-20 dated January 20, 1960 to adopt for operational service in the Soviet Army the R-7 intercontinental 2-stage ballistic missile system (product designation 8K71) with the warhead range of up to 8 thousand kilometers.
We thank all the participants in the work on the R-7 missile system, veterans and employees of the company and the industry, of the organizations and agencies that ordered and operated the system, all those who originated the system and supported its further development, for their selfless creative labor, for their enormous contribution to strengthening the defense capability of our country, to mastering rocket and space technologies!

Extravehicular activity In accordance with the mission plan of the International Space Station (ISS), Russian cosmonauts, flight engineers of the 22/23rd Expeditions to ISS, Oleg Kotov and Maxim Suraev performed a scheduled extravehicular activity.
The main purpose of the activity was to lay cables between Poisk and Zvezda modules, to install on the Mini Research Module Poisk docking targets, antennas of the Kurs radio system and additional handrails in the areas of exit hatches.

Corporation specialists briefed Roscosmos cosmonauts A. Borisenko and A. Samokutyaev on operational and design features of Progress M logistics spacecraft, procedures for operating Zveno-B equipment, the information and control system and procedures for replacing the software in the on-board computer system of the Russian segment of the space station.
