Orbital module of the Soyuz-U launch vehicle, containing Progress M-09M spacecraft was integrated with the Soyuz-U launch vehicle in the processing facility.
Technical management meeting and Government Commission meeting were convened. A decision is made to roll out Soyuz-U launch vehicle with Progress M-09M transport vehicle to the launch pad.

The lectures are dedicated to the memory of Academician S.P. Korolev and our country's other outstanding scientists - pioneers of space exploration.
S.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia is an active participant in the Lectures. Its representatives are working in the Organizing Committee of the Lectures and in a number of sections and round tables, and are going to present scientific papers.

Accommodation of small satellite Kedr onboard CTV Progress M-09M In the scope of operations for prelaunch processing of cargo transport vehicle (CTV) Progress M-09M under the International Space Station program small spacecraft - satellite Kedr was accommodated in the vehicle cargo compartment on January 18.
The satellite is designed to carry out space experiment RadioSkaf: development, preparation and launch of supersmall spacecraft during extravehicular activity (EVA). The experiment investigator is S.P. Korolev RSC Energia.
The launch of CTV Progress M-09M is scheduled to be performed on January 28 at 04:31 Moscow Time.

Winners of the 2010 Triumph Prize for science On December 13, the Cultural Center of the Diplomatic Corps Directorate of Russia's Foreign Ministry held an award ceremony for the winners of the 2010 Triumph Prize for science.
Awards were given to six winners in different categories.
In the Mechanics and Engineering category, the award went to the First Deputy General Designer of the S.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia, Chairman of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Corporation, member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, V.P. Legostaev.
