As reported by the press service of Sea Launch AG, the launch platform and the assembly and command ship of the space launch system Sea Launch have left their Home Port (USA, California, Long Beach) for equator on May 16 and May 19 respectively to prepare for the launch of lntelsat-19.

Soyuz TMA-04M spacecraft has docked with ISS
Russian manned transportation spacecraft Soyuz TMA-04M has docked with the International Space Station after two days of free flight in low Earth orbit.
Rendezvous with the space station, its fly-around, stationkeeping and docking were performed in automatic mode.
The initial contact with the docking port on the research module Rassvet of the Russian segment of the space station occurred at 08:35:56 AM Moscow Time.

May 15, 1987 marks an outstanding event in the history of world space flight: super-heavy launch vehicle (LV) Energia carrying a demo mockup of Polus spacecraft on a lateral suspension was launched from the Baikonur launch site at 21 h 30 m Moscow Time for the first time.

A manned spacecraft Soyuz TMA-04M has been launched to the ISS!
In accordance with the mission plan of the International Space Station (ISS) and Russian commitments under this international project, a manned transportation spacecraft Soyuz TMA-04M was launched from Baikonur launch site at 07:01:23 AM Moscow Time.
The objective of the launch is to deliver to ISS a crew of three in order to bring the crew of Expedition Thirty One (ISS-31) up to six.
The crew of Soyuz TMA-04M consists of: Russian cosmonauts Gennady Padalka (spacecraft
commander) and Sergei Revin (spacecraft flight engineer) and US astronaut Joseph
Acaba (flight engineer-2 of the spacecraft).

The State Commission held its meeting at Baikonur launch site where the primary and backup crews for Soyuz TMA-04M were approved and the readiness of the space launcher system was confirmed.

Soyuz launch vehicle was rolled out from the integration building to the launch pad. Soyuz launch vehicle with Soyuz TMA-04M transport vehicle is installed on the launch pad. L-2 days activities have been started.

At Baikonur launch site the preparations continue for the launch of Soyuz TMA-04M transport manned vehicle under the International Space Station program.
A meeting of the Technical management under the chairmanship of S.P. Korolev RSC Energia President and General Designer V.A. Lopota and State commission was held. A decision on rollout of the launch vehicle with the Soyuz TMA-04M transport manned spacecraft to the launch facility and its preparation for launch planned for May 15, 2012 was adopted.

In the assembly/test building primary (Padalka Gennady Ivanovich (Roscosmos, Russia), Revin Sergey Nikolaevich (Roscosmos, Russia) and Joseph Michael Acaba (NASA, USA)) and backup (Novitsky Oleg Viktorovich (Roscosmos, Russia), Tarelkin Evgeny Igorevich (Roscosmos, Russia) and Kevin Antony Ford (NASA, USA)) crews of the Soyuz TMA-04M transportation spacecraft made a check inspection of the spacecraft in the launch configuration and got acquainted with equipment to be delivered and returned to the ground.

Soyuz TMA-04M crews initiated a final training phase
The prime and backup crews for the ISS-31/32 initiated a final training phase in the processing facility.
Padalka Gennady Ivanovich (Roscosmos, Russia), Revin Sergey Nikolaevich (Roscosmos, Russia), Joseph Michael Acaba (NASA, USA), Novitsky Oleg Viktorovich (Roscosmos, Russia), Tarelkin Evgeny Igorevich (Roscosmos, Russia) and Kevin Antony Ford (NASA, USA) had training sessions onboard the spacecraft, acquainted with the onboard documentation and the content of cargoes launched and also made a fitting of the Sokol-KB space suits and individual liners.

At the airport they were met by members of the State Commission and Technical Management.
