Energia hosted routine training sessions for the Russian
cosmonaut Salizhan Sharipov and his backup cosmonaut Valeriy
Tokarev under the crew training program for the International
Space Station (ISS) Expedition 10 Crew.
The cosmonauts led by the Corporation's specialists used
the integrated simulator of the ISS Russian Segment Zvezda
Service Module to test the procedures to install and dismantle
the equipment intended to provide mating of European space
cargo vehicle ATV, other operations to ensure the ISS RS
life support. In addition, S. Sharipov took part in onboard
