How to get to the Fosburys in Weilheim (Greitherstr. 1, Tel: (0881) 925 69 63)
Approaching Weilheim from Starnberg (Landstrasse #2): · At the first roundabout you meet, take the first exit (i.e turn right). · At the next roundabout, take the third exit (i.e. turn left). This is signed to the `Altstadt'. · Continue on this road (MÝnchener Straúe) until you hit the T-junction (pedestrian zone straight ahead). Get into the right-hand lane and turn right (Unterer Graben). · Follow this road round (folowing the walls of the old town): at the top of a slight rise it bends quite sharply to the left (by the church) and then very sharply to the right. [The road here also goes straight on (Greitherstraúe), shown as a left arrow on the road, but you want to follow the main road and bend right (Pollinger Straúe).] · As soon as you have negociated this sharp bend, put on your left indicator as you want to take the first road on the left (at the end of the row of shops). This is PÄnzingerweg, a cul-desac. Go to the end and follow the road round to the left, ignoring the entrance to the underground garage - you will see 6 above-ground parking places, one of which is hopefully free. · If no parking place is to be found here, you can try the road parallel to PÄnzigerweg (i.e. one further on), Jahnstraúe, where there should be space in the parking area for the swimming pool. Failing that, follow Pollinger Straúe back the way you came, turn right into Greitherstraúe (one after PÄnzingerweg i.e. at T-junction) and then first left into PÆltnerstraúe (one-way) where there should be space. · We will keep a watch out for you so we can open the gate (see sketch). If you fail to attract our attention or park elsewhere, go round to our front door and buzz. We are on the second floor - you have to press '2' on the key pad by the lift to call it/direct it where to go before you get in.
