The stellar nursery NGC 6357 in the constellation of Scorpius

This chart shows the location of NGC 6357 in the constellation of Scorpius (The Scorpion). This map shows most of the stars visible to the unaided eye under good conditions, and NGC 6357 itself is highlighted with a red circle on the image. Although this stellar nursery is prominent in images it is faint visually and needs a large telescope for a good view.
