SCIENTIFIC SKETCH

Vladimir S.Tikunov published more than 500 articles including 19 monographs and textbooks in Russia and abroad (Armenia, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Czechoslovakia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, England, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Italy, Japan, Kenya, S. Korea, Mexico, Moldavia, Mongolia, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Rwanda, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, South Africa, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, UAE, Ukraine, USA - in Russian, English, French, German, Italian, Armenian, Georgian, Czech, Slovak, Polish, Mongolian, Korean, Chinese, Arabic and Japanese languages). His current interests are geoinformatics, applied mapping and mathematical-cartographic modeling.
