Unveiling Dwarf Galaxies in Low Redshift Galaxy Clusters

We have conducted a deep photometric study of 27 Abell clusters
in the redshift range of 0.02-0.04 with the 8k CCD mosaic cam-
era on the KPNO 0.9m telescope. This telescope/detector com-
bination, with a pixel scale of 0:42 00 /pix, provides a one square
degree eld of view, giving an areal coverage of 1 2h 1 Mpc 2 .
The dwarf galaxy population has been characterized by construct-
ing luminosity functions (LF's), measuring spatial variations, and
colour distributions. Cluster LF's as a function of clustercentric
radii will be presented.
