COSMIC DATA FUSION

I will discuss our work on cosmic data fusion: the comparison
and combination of various cosmological data sets to estimate
cosmological parameters. We nd good agreement on cosmologi-
cal parameters between galaxy velocities, CMB and Type 1a su-
pernovae with 95 per cent condence limits 0:64 < h < 0:86,
0:17
<
m < 0:39 and 0:98 < 8 < 1:37. We also nd agree-
ment in
the
m , h, 8 parameter space between cluster number
counts, CMB and the IRAS galaxy redshift survey, with similar
constraints
on
m but slightly lower values for h and signicantly
higher values for 8 .
