Cosmological Parameters from
the 2dF Galaxy Redshift Survey

I review the progress of the 2dF Galaxy Redshift Survey, which
has now measured redshifts for over 100,000 galaxies. I present
some early results from the survey on the large-scale structure
of the galaxy distribution, including an upper limit on the mean
mass density of the universe which strongly supports low-density
cosmological models. I discuss the constraints on cosmological
parameters that will emerge from the completed survey.
