The University enjoys a site licence for the NAG Fortran 95 compiler and numerical subroutine library that are installed on PWF Linux, and are being used for this course. This licence is negotiated via CHEST, and is heavily discounted but is also somewhat restrictive.
Under the terms of the licence, limited use of the software is permitted on undergraduates' personal machines for course work carried out in Cambridge, and we have made arrangements to provide access to both the compiler and the library for you to use on your own machine, assuming you are running the Linux operating system.
However, it is important that you read and obey the conditions of the licence, and so to gain access to this software, you must download and sign the form available here in PDF format. Click on this link to download a copy of the form, and then print it out.
Once you have signed the form, present it to the Teaching Office, who will give you the details of how to proceed.
