Proposal Title: Deep Searches for Young Pulsars in "Shell" Supernova Remnants
ABSTRACT:
We propose to observe most shell supernova remnants known at distances of less than 7 kpc in order to search with
great sensitivity for young pulsars that do not power observable pulsar wind nebulae. In this term, we request 5 hr
of Arecibo time at 430 MHz to record data from 2 supernova remnants.
