Bistatic observations of Near-Earth asteroid 2015 HM10

We propose to conduct bistatic observations of near-Earth asteroid 2015 HM10 as part of the 2015 Single-Dish Summer School to be held in Green Bank, West Virginia during the week of July 6-10. We ask for two observing sessions: 1730-2100 UT on 06JUL2015 and 0930-1245 UT on 08JUL2015 (includes transmitter warm-up time), both sets of observations to occur while the ob ject is less than 2 lunar distances from the Earth (round trip light times of 4.5 to 5.5 seconds). The first of these sessions will involve bistatic observations with the VLBA and DSS-13 at Goldstone, while the second will involve bistatic obsrvations with the Green Bank Telescope (GBT) at NRAO.
