Investigating the possible spectral turn-up in PSR B0611+22

The pulsar B0611+22 exhibits strange behavior with regards to its spectral index. At frequencies less than 2 GHz, we can measure a spectral index of -2.2, which is typical for most pulsars. However, as we observe with frequencies greater than this, we notice a slight turn-up, i.e. the flux increases as the frequency increases. Although not the norm, it is not completely uncommon. Here, we attempt to observe B0611+22 at multiple frequencies, including 5 GHz and 10 GHz to better understand this pulsar's spectral index. We ask for 9 hours of observing time to allow us to cycle through 4 frequencies on three different days to minimize any variations in our data. With our desired results, we will be better able to understand this spectral turn-up and the pulsar's behavior at high frequencies.
