Experience in radio observing for undergraduate students at UW-Madison

I would like to ask for 2 hours of observing time for an undergraduate course at UW-Madison. I have taught the same course 1.5 years ago and organized it around 2 remote observing sessions with Arecibo. Students learned all necessary information regarding planning scientific observations (including literature search and basics of scientific ethics), conducting remote observations, doing basic data reduction, and producing high-quality reports, graphs and presentations. The class was very popular and is scheduled again for spring 2010. To gain observing experience with Arecibo students will observe several standard galaxies using ON-OFF switching. We will use either L-wide or ALFA.
