Long-term Timing of PSR B1534+12

We request 10 90-minute observing sessions over the course of the next year for continued monitoring of the relativistic double-neutron-star system PSR B1534+12. Observations will b e carried out with the ASP and WAPP systems at 1400 and 430 MHz. These data will allow us to maintain a coherent picture of the disp ersion measure changes and p erio d derivatives in our ongoing quest to refine the relativistic timing parameters for this source. They will also contribute to the improvement of our quantitative study of the profile evolution due to geo detic precession.
