Follow-up Radar Observations of Binary Near-Earth Asteroid (153958) 2002

AM31
ABSTRACT:
Arecibo radar observations from July 11-16 of (153958) 2002 AM31 revealed it to be a binary-asteroid system. This asteroid will return to the Arecibo sky in early August when it can be imaged further, which will help constrain the orbital parameters of the secondary body and provide leverage for determining the spin state of the primary component.
