Proposal Title: Are globular cluster and Galactic pulsars di erent?
ABSTRACT:
Pulsars in globular clusters, being distant and weak radio sources, are diфcult objects to observe. Thus, very little
is known about their emission properties. Even though they are likely to be recycled, the globular cluster pulsars
do not seem to share the same formation scenario as the recycled pulsars in our Galaxy. Di erences in the emission
properties of the two populations have been pointed as evidence in support of this hypothesis. The high quality
polarimetric study we are proposing here is urgently required and would shed light into this important question.
