image Discovered by Giancarlo Cortini and Stefano Antonellini (Italy); Mikko Paivinen and Petri Kehusmaa (Finland).   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the Itagaki image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Draco.
