Welcome Reception
A welcome reception for conference participants will be held on Sunday, March 16, 17:00-19:00 at the Hotel Ponte Sisto, located at Via dei Pettinari 64.
Conference Dinner
A guided tour to the Catacombs of St. Callixtus will be organized for conference participants and their guests on Thursday, March 20 in the afternoon. The Conference Dinner will follow at the restaurant L'Archeologia following the tour. Tour and dinner are included in the registration fee. Catacombs Tour and Conference Dinner tickets for non-registered guests/family members will be available for 30 Euro per person (~$40.00 US).

15:45 Bus departs from Lungotevere della Farnesina, Piazza Trilussa (3min walk from the Lincei)
16:30 – 17:30 Guided tour of the San Callisto Catacombs
17:45 Bus to Villa Capo di Bove
18:00 – 19:30 Visit of the Villa Capo di Bove on the Appia Antica, one of the most ancient and famous roads in Rome
In the Villa, there will be a short presentation by Rita Paris and Livia Giammichele (Sovraintendenza dei Beni Culturali) followed by a cocktail and concert by a Jazz quartet.
19:30 Bus to Restaurant L’Archeologia.
20:00 – 22:00 Dinner at the Restaurant L’Archeologia
22:30 Return by bus to Piazza Trilussa.
